GOP State Chair/Deputy Chair Candidate Forum June 4th

With yesterday's announcement from former AM1500 Radio Host Dave Thompson, there are three candidates in the race for State Party Chair including Current State Party Secretary/Treasurer Tony Sutton and former State Senator Carrie Ruud. There are two candidates in the Deputy Chair contest- current Deputy Chair, Dorothy Flemming and Minnesota Democrats Exposed Blogger Michael Brodkorb.

I received this email from Jennifer DeJournett announcing a candidate forum- State Delegates and other interested parties should definitely attend to learn more about all of the candidates.

The Minnesota Excellence in Public Service Series (MEPSS), Class of 2008-2009 wishes to invite you to attend a Republican Party Leadership Forum, Thursday, June 4, 2009. The Forum will be held at the Maple Grove Junior High Auditorium, 7000 Hemlock Lane Maple Grove, MN 55369. The doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and will begin promptly at seven o’clock in the evening. The anticipated end time is 9:30 p.m.

The purpose of this Republican Party Leadership Forum is to give the Chair and Deputy Chair candidates an opportunity to address a wide range of issues that affect the Republican Party, party principles and our ability to win elections in the future.

MEPSS will make every attempt to invite candidates to participate as they become known to us, provided we learn of their candidacy no later than seven days prior to the event.
